Abstract | The
aim of the pilot project to implement a Black Sea surface mobile
monitoring system is to test the implementation of specialized research
equipment to be installed on a fishing vessel. The
equipment that will be installed will allow for sampling and momentary
analysis of the surface waters in which the vessel is moving. The
system will be installed in the outer circle of the ship's cooling
system, from which seawater circulating, which will flow through a
sensing camera to perform momentary analysis. The analyzed data will be recorded on a dedicated recorder on board the vessel. Upon entering the GSM network, the data will be transmitted to a central computer on the shore. Regular
data collection will support the accumulation of an array to allow
analysis of the long-term status and changes in the surface water layer
at different times of the year. Typical sampling in the aquatic area of the 7-8 mile zone requires the organization of a special expedition. With
the mobile sampling system that is mounted on a fishing vessel that
comes out regularly, sampling can take place almost daily and the data
can be accessed in real time when the vessel is in GSM coverage.
