- The Team of Marine Biology of the Department of Animal Biology is carrying out research into the systematic and ecology of macrobenthic invertebrates, coastal fish and meiobenthos, as well as on the ecology of marine phanerogamic grasslands and paralic environments. Also, studies are being carried out on the parasitology of marine mammals in the waters surrounding the Iberian Peninsula.
