- Trondheim Biological Station (TBS) is a marine biological station founded in the year 1900. Today it is part of the Department of Natural History at The Museum of Natural History and Archaeology of NTNU (The Norwegian University of Science and Technology). TBS has its own research vessel and maintains several time series in hydrography, biology and genetics in the Trondheimsfjord.
