The Institute annually arranges and carries out surveys in the White, Barents, Kara, Laptevy seas and at such high latitude archipelagos as Franz-Joseph Land, Novaya Zemlya and Spitsbergen in co-operation with partners both from Russia and abroad. Since 1996 the scope of the Institute scientific interest encompasses the Azov Sea.MMBI maintains mutually beneficial relations with influential Russian and foreign scientific centres, laboratories, experts and always ready to welcome new partners.
