- Svitzer Ltd. is a commercial survey company primarily engaged in offshore survey work on the North West European Continental Shelf. Svitzer collects, processes, presents and stores seabed and sub-seabed data sets acquired from owned, chartered or third party survey vessels.
Specialising in high resolution seismic data acquisition utilising digital seismic systems to 2km sub-seabed depth and analogue systems for soils structure evaluation, the company also operates shallow and deep water swathe bathymetry systems for continental shelf and oceanic seabed bathymetric modelling.
Data are interpreted and processed utilising interactive seismic workstations, CPS3 and Geosoft oasis Montaj data processing software. Presentation and preparation of datasets is undertaken on a variety of commerically available software; Autocad Map, Microstation, Geographics, Geomedia, MapInfo and ArcView.
