Faculty of Sciences in Podgorica higher education institution of high education and scientific maturity acquired over nearly 25 years, first as the Institute of Mathematics and Physics, and since 1988. as the Faculty of Science. An important step in the development of this faculty is the creation of the Department of Biology, 1990. year. Today, this college within their home organizes undergraduate, postgraduate and graduate studies, and provides an opportunity to acquire a doctoral degree in the field of natural sciences and mathematics. Faculty has maintained good cooperation with many reputable universities, and has been developed with the cooperation of Moscow State University MV Lomonosov.
The faculty developed a scientific research activity which is carried out projects for the Department of Education of the Ministry of Science of Montenegro, the international scientific projects and individual activities. Teachers and Faculty associates are authors of a significant number of papers in prestigious international scientific journals.
